2011 CBC Seminar Proposals Now Being Accepted
The City by the Bay hosts the upcoming Craft Brewer Conference & Brew Expo America, March 23–26, 2011. The search has begun to fill the numerous tracks with informative and thought provoking seminars to be attended by conference goers. Conference attendees have business functions in management, marketing, brewing, packaging, brewery operations, waste stream, facilities, public interaction, and all facets of the allied trade, wholesaling and education. Interested parties are asked to submit their proposal through the CBC Seminar Proposal form which is available now. Proposals will be collected until October 1, 2010.

2010 World Beer Cup® is Largest Commercial Competition Ever
Boulder, CO • April 10, 2010—Brewers from six continents earned awards from an elite international panel of judges this week in the 2010 Brewers Association World Beer Cup—the world's largest-ever commercial beer competition. The eighth bi-annual competition announced awards to brewers from 19 countries ranging from Australia and Italy to Iceland and Japan.

Boulder, CO • April 8, 2010—Three successful members of the brewing community were recognized with awards for their dedication and service to the industry at the opening session of the Brewers Association's annual Craft Brewers Conference.
2010 Symposium Ale
The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild came together to make the 2010 Symposium Ale for this year's conference. This Symposium Ale is a blend of four different beers, a Russian Imperial Stout, a Scotch Ale, a Barleywine and an Imperial IPA. Congressman Richard Neal Joins Congressman Peter DeFazio to Keynote Craft Brewers Conference
Boulder, CO • April 2, 2010—Congressman Richard Neal (D-Massachusetts) will take the stage with previously confirmed speaker Congressman Peter DeFazio (D-Oregon) to deliver the keynote address at the Brewers Association's (BA) Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) in Chicago, Ill. on April 8, 2010.
Seminar Handouts
In an effort to continue to reduce the environmental impact of the conference, speaker handouts for the CBC seminars will again be available by download. This was introduced last year and was applauded by many. Attendees wishing to have printed speaker handouts prior to or after the conference will be able to download them starting on Wednesday, March 31. Attendees registered for the Full Conference will receive an email containing a link and password to access the handouts when they are available.
